We welcome volunteers! POF has plenty of opportunities to make your time worthwhile.
You can choose an activity that you like, makes you feel good and suits your schedule. By participating in POF initiatives, you could potentially help the underprivileged in addition to saving the environment.
Students can gain an enlightening experience and a notable addition to their resumes!
You can contribute in many ways.

WORK FROM ANYWHERE
- Call hospitals for supplies
- Coordinate pickups from hospitals
- Help in fundraising events
- Get more volunteers
- Manage volunteer schedules
- Help in accounting
- Raise awareness
- Create volunteer training programs
- Document work procedures
FIELD WORK
- Pick up and transport supplies from hospitals to warehouse
- Run fundraisers
- Meet and collaborate with donors
- Printing (e.g., forms) coordination
- Collect empty cardboard boxes, bins, etc.
- Coordinate containers for shipment
- Consumables for warehouse
WAREHOUSE WORK
- Move and unpack boxes (mostly cardboard)
- Sort items and put them into bins
- Pack similar items into boxes and label
- Data entry—inventory management
- Train volunteers
- Supervise warehouse work
- Manage facilities in warehouse
